LabAide ("Phlebotomy Assistant") is a Chrome extension that helps lab technicians identify correct collection requirements for lab tests. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you sign in, we store your email address to authenticate your session. This is stored locally in Chrome extension storage and sent to our backend server for authentication.
When you ask Natalie (our AI assistant) about lab tests, your query text is sent to our backend server to retrieve accurate collection requirements. Queries are logged for quality assurance and to improve response accuracy. No patient data is collected or required.
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics including: pages viewed, features used, session duration, and error events. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the product.
Your data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on secured servers hosted by Railway. Authentication tokens are stored locally in Chrome's extension storage and are cleared on sign-out.
Query logs are retained for quality assurance purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
